About Us

हिंदी भाषा केंद्र or Hindi Language Academy offers projects & activities based, online Hindi and Indian culture classes through real-life scenarios to children and youths.

HLA is focused on imparting learning experiences for Heritage & Non-Heritage learners through the principles of World-Readiness Standards & ACTFL guidelines. We also prepare High school students and interested individuals for the Seal Of Biliteracy test.

We are a group of well-trained, experienced, and passionate teachers who have come together to provide the best instructional approach to Hindi learning to today’s 21st-century learners. Over the last decade, we have taught in several Federal government-funded Hindi programs that follow stringent World-Readiness Standards for the teaching of World Languages. We have also managed and taught in Community-Based Hindi schools in the Tri-state area and come to understand the Indian community’s need to teach their children the language and culture of their own homeland in the most productive and effective manner so that they develop a lifelong love for the land of their origin.

HLA is conducted by ESHA (Educators Society for Heritage of IndiA) a non-profit 501(C)3 Educational organization incorporated in NJ in 2003. ESHA website: www.ESHAusa.org has many resources on the heritage of India, including Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Spirituality, Science, History, Hindi Teaching, and various aspects of the Culture of India that are useful, helpful, interesting, and a source of pride for the students of Indian heritage to know about.

Our “About Us” section would be incomplete without the loving remembrance of ESHA’s founder and our beloved Dr. Ved Prakash Chaudhary. His support and trust laid the foundation and paved the way for the success of HLA.
