Hindi Diwas Celebration at Indian Consulate : A Platform for Students to Showcase Their Talent

On September 14th, India celebrates Hindi Diwas, commemorating the adoption of Hindi as the official language of the country. At HLA, we believe in promoting and preserving the richness of the Hindi language among students. Our organization provides a platform for students to showcase their Hindi talent through various events and activities. One of the most important event is “ Hindi Diwas”, organized by The Consulate of India, New York. We thank them whole heartedly for keeping the Indian culture alive with various cultural events. We are very grateful for Anoop Bhargava Ji from Jhilmil to include our students in this prestigious event.

By participating in events like debates, music, recitation, enactment and creative writing, students can demonstrate their proficiency and creativity in Hindi. These events not only help students develop their language skills but also boost their confidence and public speaking abilities.

At HLA, we strive to create an environment where students can express themselves freely and share their love for the Hindi language. Our goal is to encourage students to explore the depths of Hindi literature and culture, and to develop a sense of pride in their linguistic heritage. This year, two of our talented students – Jiya Agarwal and Shloka Harish gave amazing presentation – while Jia captured her Varanasi trip through digital storytelling, using book creator app, Shloka talked about the struggles of learning a new languages and how one can overcome that .

Through our initiatives, we aim to inspire a new generation of Hindi enthusiasts who can carry forward the legacy of this beautiful language.

Shloka Harish – challenges of learning a new language and how to overcome it.

Jia Agarwal – Digital Storytelling by capturing her Varanasi trip in the form of an online book through book creator app.
